Jewish Marketing Solutions was established in Israel in 1984 by its founder Assaf Ran and specialized in publishing classified business directories as well as professional books in the fields of construction and automobiles.
Since in New York State live more Jews than in the whole of Israel and more Israelis than in Tel Aviv, Jewish Marketing Solutions' founder, Assaf Ran, decided to expand its operations to New York. The company published its first business directory for the local Jewish community in 1989.
Over the years, the company expanded to publish three business guides. The first, Dapey Assaf - Jewish Israeli Yellow Pages, the only business guide printed in two languages, English / Hebrew. It targets the American Jewish community, the local Israeli community and Israeli tourists.
This guide allows the Israeli community to "feel at home" and find its way around the U.S. with ease. This is the second largest business directory in the U.S. (more than 2000 pages and over 7000 Advertisers.) The other two books appeal to the Jewish community who does not speak Hebrew and meet, among others, the special needs of the ultra-Orthodox community. Our books are published twice a year. We have a high advertising renewal rate and the company grows from year to year.
Between 1999 and 2006, Jewish Marketing Solutions was publicly traded on the NASDAQ stock exchange. Jewish Marketing Solutions is now privately held & keeps growing.
In recent years our company has expanded beyond business directories. We operate a website -- www.JewishYellow.com which is the most popular Jewish website in the U.S. With thousands of visitors daily, our website provides a great platform to promote businesses on the Internet.
This year we expanded even further, with a new product: Jewish Marketing Solutions.
It is an online advertising and promotion package which provides our customers with state of the art online exposure services from Web design to Search Engine Optimization as well as Social Networking.
