 We offer the most up-to-date diagnostic and treatment options available in both the outpatient (office), ambulatory surgical, and in-patient surgical environments. We are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of voiding dysfunction, urologic oncology, and kidney stones. Dr. Wynberg is a graduate of the National Cancer Institute’s comprehensive fellowship in Urologic Oncology at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Over the past three years Dr. Wynberg has performed approximately 400 ureteroscopy procedures to remove kidney stones and diagnose and treat other illnesses. Almost all of our patients are home the same day or the next day and many kidney stone patients achieve ‘stone-free’ status in a single laser procedure. We also offer ESWL (extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy) to break stones without ureteroscopy.
Appointments are scheduled in advance at all locations. To enable us to make the most convenient appointment for you, please call as early as possible. You are urged to keep your appointment or give 24 hours notice of cancellation. This will provide the opportunity for another patient in need of care to be seen. Please bring with you any required referral, all medications you are currently taking and a list of any drug allergies you may have. Also, please have available any records from previous physicians regarding your current condition, as well as any lab work. If X-rays or CT scans have been performed within the past 12 months, please stop by the institution where they were taken and retrieve the films as well as a copy of the radiologists report. This will eliminate any unnecessary delays or repetition of tests. Our office staff will be able to answer all non-medical and some medical questions. Questions which cannot be dealt with by the office personnel will be communicated to the physician. If possible, please call our office before going to a hospital emergency room. In the event of an emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
